Volunteer at Stitch the Gap

If you have always wanted to volunteer, then why not come along on a Friday and join us?

We have had A LOT of fabric donations and need help sorting and repackaging them, so that we can showcase its potential and save it from landfill.

What you will do when you volunteer:

• Help our shop manager with organising shop displays
• Sorting fabric donations
• Prepping fabric so that it is ready to be sold
• Support a growing social enterprise and help to save as much fabric from landfill as possible!

No textile experience is required. That said, if you were once (or indeed still are!) a talented seamstress or creative and would like to use your skills and passion for textiles again, then you might just have found your tribe.

You do not need to commit to every Friday (unless you want to!). Our volunteering hours are between 10.30am-2pm, but if you only have a morning or afternoon free, please still book as we'd love to have your help! 

We promise to always have a full kettle on the boil, lots of biscuits and fabulous chat EVERY Friday!
